Indian Acupuncture is a natural, drug-free therapy that uses fine, sterile needles placed at specific points on the body to support the body's natural healing processes. At Magizh Acupuncture Clinic, we follow a personalized approach and primarily use a single-needle technique whenever appropriate.

Most patients experience little or no pain during treatment. The needles used in acupuncture are much finer than injection needles. Some people may feel a slight tingling, warmth, or heaviness around the treatment point, but these sensations are usually mild and temporary.

Yes. When performed by a qualified practitioner using sterile, single-use disposable needles, acupuncture is generally considered safe. At Magizh Acupuncture Clinic, we maintain strict hygiene standards and explain the procedure before beginning treatment.

Most acupuncture sessions at our clinic take 5 to 10 minutes. The consultation during your first visit may take longer because we perform a detailed assessment of your health condition before starting treatment.

The number of sessions depends on several factors, including the type of condition, how long you have had the condition, your overall health, and your response to treatment. As a general guide: acute conditions usually require 4–8 sessions, while chronic conditions may require 8 or more sessions. Your practitioner will discuss an appropriate treatment plan after your consultation.

Not necessarily. The treatment schedule depends on your condition and your response to therapy. Some patients benefit from more frequent sessions initially, while others may only need weekly visits. Your practitioner will recommend a schedule tailored to your needs.

Every individual responds differently to treatment. Some patients notice improvement after the first few sessions, while others may require additional treatments, especially for long-standing conditions. The outcome depends on factors such as the nature of the condition, overall health, and adherence to the treatment plan.

In many cases, acupuncture is used as a complementary therapy alongside conventional medical care. However, it is important to inform your practitioner about any medications, ongoing treatments, or medical conditions. Do not stop prescribed medications without consulting your primary healthcare provider.

Most people tolerate acupuncture well. Some patients may experience mild soreness, slight bruising, or temporary fatigue after treatment, but these effects are generally short-lived. If you have any concerns, discuss them with your practitioner before your session.

Many adults seek acupuncture for pain management, stress reduction, and overall wellness. Whether acupuncture is suitable depends on your individual health condition. Please inform your practitioner if you are pregnant, have a bleeding disorder, use blood-thinning medication, or have any significant medical conditions.

At Magizh Acupuncture Clinic, we provide supportive care for neck pain, back pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, frozen shoulder, arthritis, sciatica, cervical spondylosis, lumbar spondylosis, migraine, stress and anxiety, insomnia, sinus and allergies, diabetes support, weight management, hormonal imbalance, cosmetic acupuncture, and general wellness. Treatment plans are personalized, and results vary from person to person.

To make your visit comfortable, we recommend that you eat a light meal before your appointment, wear loose comfortable clothing, bring details of any medical reports or medications if relevant, arrive a few minutes early for your consultation, and inform the practitioner about any existing medical conditions or allergies.

After your session, drink plenty of water, avoid strenuous physical activity for a few hours if possible, follow any lifestyle or self-care advice provided by your practitioner, and monitor how you feel and share your progress during your next visit. These simple steps can help support your overall treatment experience.

Our clinic primarily follows the Single Needle Technique, which focuses on selecting the most appropriate acupuncture point based on the patient's individual condition. This approach aims to provide effective treatment while keeping the procedure comfortable and straightforward. Additional needles are used only when clinically appropriate.
